March is all about FEARLESS SEWING over here, and this week I went fearless with PEARLS—because why not make it glam? In this video I sew McCalls M6796 (View A) as a knit top and then take it up a notch by hand sewing pearls right into the look. I cut a Size 16, and I also share my current measurements (40" bust, 34" waist, 40" hips, 5'5") so you can better gauge sizing if you’re thinking about making this pattern too. The pearl knit top was inspired by Alice Veneziani, and I talk through how I approached the embellishment so it still feels wearable and not “too precious” to enjoy.
