About This Video

In this video I’m reviewing the Razer Tartarus V2, and the best way I can describe it is: it’s a really cool piece of gear that you probably want… but you definitely don’t need. I break down what it is, who it’s for, and why it can be hard to justify unless you’re actually going to take advantage of what makes it special—macros, remapping, and having a dedicated one-handed keypad setup for games or productivity. I go over the features and build quality first, then spend a good chunk of time talking about the software/app side because that’s where the Tartarus really lives or dies. If you’re willing to put in the time to set up profiles, map keys, and fine-tune how you want it to work, it can be awesome for fast switching and quick actions. But if you’re the type to plug something in and never touch settings again, you’re not going to get the full value out of it. I also share my real-world experience using it, my one main issue with it, and my final thoughts on whether it’s worth adding to your setup.
