About This Video

In this video I’m checking out the TraveLink “wireless cable card” (or traveling card), and honestly it might be one of my favorite gifts I’ve ever received. The whole idea is simple: it’s basically an all-in-one cable solution that’s perfect for travel or those random emergency moments when you need to charge something right now. Inside the little shell you get a USB‑C to USB‑C cable wrapped around the edge, plus a USB‑A adapter and adapters for Lightning and Micro‑USB, so you can piece together pretty much whatever cable you need on the spot. What makes it extra “stupidly versatile” is it’s not just cables. It also has a SIM tool and nano SIM storage slots, a wireless charging pad on the back (it needs to be plugged into power since it doesn’t hold a charge), and it can even turn into a phone stand. There’s also a flashlight button (again, only works when plugged in) and a built-in micro SD card reader, which is cool to have even if I personally don’t use micro SD much. My main concern is build quality—it’s mostly cheap plastic—so I’d gladly pay more for a more premium metal version, but at around $20–$21, it’s still a super practical little travel gadget.
