About This Video

In this video I did a little “Prime Pickups” haul because Amazon had a bunch of sales and I finally had an excuse to grab stuff I’ve been eyeing for a while. The whole point was simple: I wanted to see if these deals were actually useful or if I just wasted money on junk. I split it up into a few categories—camera gear I use to make videos, some survival/emergency stuff that’s good to keep around, and one gaming accessory I’ve wanted to try for streaming. For camera gear, I picked up a gray card that helps me calibrate white balance so my colors are more accurate before I even start color correcting. It’s one of those subtle upgrades that can make the overall video quality better even if you can’t immediately “see” it. I also grabbed a 2-pack of Lexar Professional 128GB SD cards (recommended by my buddy Ryan) so I’ve got more storage and 4K-ready cards for filming. Then I went into survival gear: a Gerber multi-tool that feels durable in-hand and has a ton of built-in tools, plus a Streamlight MicroStream USB rechargeable flashlight that feels premium, has a tactile click, and even clips to a hat like a mini headlamp. I also tested a cheap hand-crank emergency radio/flashlight that’s solar capable and can act like a small battery bank. Finally, I unboxed the Razer Tartarus v2—my first Razer product—and it felt surprisingly high quality with lots of programmable buttons for gaming.
