In episode 2 of my glow up diaries, I’m basically setting the foundations for my final year of secondary school — because glowing up externally is cute, but glowing up mentally is the actual goal. I start by getting really clear on what I want to achieve for GCSEs (yes, I said it: I’m aiming for seven 8s and 9s), and I’m not even trying to be unrealistic — I’m just determined. My strategy is to start by hitting those grades in my mocks, and then keep that momentum going, because my final year study starts now (and the fact it’s 288 days until my first maths GCSE is genuinely terrifying).
