In this british school vlog, I’m literally opening my exam results with my friends and trying not to spiral because… yeah, I was mad at my results. I did get some really good grades (like nines in biology and French), but it also made me realise I need to stop treating the subjects I don’t like like they don’t matter. The whole vibe is realistic but still aesthetic — like I’m locking in hella hard, but romantically, if that makes sense. I talk through my mindset shift properly: hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard, and I actually agree. For me, if I enjoy a subject, I naturally do better, but maths and a few others make me want to walk into the middle of the road (dramatic but true). So I’m setting proper targets and trying to treat the subjects I don’t like the same way I treat the ones I do. There’s also little life bits with my friends, college/personal statement chat, and just that calm “digital diary” feeling — like a mini break from studying so I don’t burn out. Pray for my GCSEs, seriously.
