In this realistic British school vlog, I’m basically coming back from a little hiatus to rant, give life updates, and be honest about how stressed I am with GCSEs being way too close for comfort. Mocks genuinely drained me, I’ve been avoiding study (not proud), but I’m trying to “lock in” because the timing is scary — the weeks are flying and it’s giving full panic. I talk through how it feels seeing the countdown laid out on a calendar and realising it’s basically: a tiny bit of time, half term, then boom… exams. I also chat about my mock results and where I’m at academically. French and Biology were bangers (grade 9s, we love to see it), but I’m being real about the subjects I need to push — like Maths sitting at a 6 again and the pressure to get at least a 7 (ideally an 8/9) so I don’t end up having to do core maths at college. I also explain the chaos with Computer Science: my school cancelled it, I’ve been learning independently, then they re-entered me and even switched exam boards to OCR, which I’m not happy about. On top of that, I’m trying to figure out my future (bio/chem/compsci, EPQ plans, uni vs internships) while my Wi-Fi and my brain both refuse to connect.
