About This Video

My hair was doing a sticky-up thing (and I kind of f with it), but anyway — this is a REAL productive study vlog because I’m Year 11 and my mocks start on the 8th of February. I’ve been revising basically every single day because it’s less than 19 weeks until GCSEs and that thought is genuinely scary, so we’re locking in. I start with biology and go through the topics I picked from past paper/spec, then I handwrite notes (because typing makes me switch my brain off) and turn everything into Anki flashcards so it actually sticks. I also do a little life update because I got accepted into my two top choice colleges, which I’m so happy about — one of them has an insane STEM department. Study-wise, I show how I structure my sessions with my version of Pomodoro (more like 40–60 minutes then a 10-minute break), and I talk about my to-do list on YPT and how I keep pushing geography back because I just don’t want to do it. There’s also a very necessary break where I make an iced coffee with orange syrup (yes, I know) and a mini rant about “rice cakes” secretly being rice AND corn cakes. Overall: notes → Anki → spaced repetition, and be realistic about breaks when you’re tired.
