Okay so this was a proper chaotic-but-fun day in my life because I had a geography fieldwork trip and I was literally speedrunning my skincare + makeup because I was running late. I’m doing my usual little “pat off” moment to mattify (it’s a stupid trick, I know), debating concealer, throwing on jewellery, and just trying to be out of my room by 7. It’s very much realistic GCSE student vibes — like, you can be productive and still be rushing. Then it’s all the fieldwork trip moments with my friends (say hi to Chloe), walking/climbing around, and just being unserious the whole time. We end up with Burger King crowns, lots of banter, and me trying to keep it kid-friendly because… yeah. After that, it turns into a cosy hangout where we play Mario Kart and Super Mario Party (I got absolutely destroyed at Mario Kart, I’m still blaming the awful car + no powerups), plus Just Dance. The takeaways: bring comfy shoes because I ended up with blisters, sand fully invaded my shoes, and the coach floor is… not my problem anymore. Honestly, such a fun trip even if my feet were suffering.
