In this video I’m setting up the MORECAM J2 video doorbell in the CloudEdge app, step-by-step, so you can get it connected and working without the headache. I start by checking the chime (you’ll see the light), then powering on the doorbell and looking for the flashing red light—that’s how you know it’s ready for setup. From there I show you exactly how I download CloudEdge (QR code in the manual or just search your app store), create an account, and add the device. I also walk you through the Wi‑Fi part properly: you need to sync it on a 2.4GHz network, then enter your network password and wait for the sound that confirms it’s paired. Once it’s connected, I show you the live view, how I test for delay, and where to find the battery indicator, bitrate, and Wi‑Fi percentage. Finally, I go through the storage options—cloud if you want it, or microSD if you prefer local recording—and I show you that you must format the SD card in the app first. I finish by running through motion detection settings, sensitivity, alarm modes, and how to set an alarm area so you only get notified where it actually matters.
