In this video I’m going through the ieGeek wire-free 2K PTZ battery security camera and showing you exactly what you get in the box and how I set it up. It comes with a solar panel to keep the inbuilt battery topped up, and I show the brackets for both the camera and the solar panel, the screws and wall plugs, and the USB to USB-C cable (I still recommend you charge the camera before you install it). I also show you the quick-release style mount, so you can snap the camera on and off easily if you ever need to bring it in to charge. I cover the main features inside the app too: 2K resolution options (I usually just leave it on auto), 355° pan and 120° tilt that you can control remotely, and night vision options where it can record in black and white or switch to color when you turn the LED lights on. I show how to add the camera in the ieGeek Cam app using the QR code, how to format the microSD card (up to 128GB), and how to view motion events in History/Alerts or use cloud storage if you prefer. I also demonstrate two-way audio, setting an alarm area to avoid things like trees triggering alerts, and how to download clips from the SD card straight to your phone.
