In this video I’m showing you a super easy way to extend your Wi‑Fi using the TP‑Link AX1800 Wi‑Fi 6 range extender. This is the kind of device you plug in halfway between your router and the dead zone in your house, so you can reach those areas where the signal is weak or you’ve got no signal at all. If you’ve got security cameras, doorbells, or even just a laptop that keeps dropping out at the far end of the home, this is one of the quickest fixes to try. I go over the two main setup options: you can connect it using the WPS button on the extender and your router, or you can do it through the TP‑Link Tether app (which is what I walk through). In the app you hit the plus icon, choose “range extender,” set a password, select your main Wi‑Fi network, and enter the Wi‑Fi password. I also point out the Ethernet port on the side, which is handy if you want a wired connection for a PC, laptop, or console in a spot that doesn’t have good Wi‑Fi. Finally, I show some of the settings and run a speed test on the original router and then on the extender so you can see the difference.
