About This Video

In this video I walk you through the full ieGeek Cam app setup from start to finish, the same way I do it when I’m adding a new battery camera. I show you how to install the app, swipe through the intro pages, hit Start, then go into Setup to add your email. After that, you’ll need to confirm your email, come back into the app, and then add your device. Once you choose “Battery Camera,” I show you the exact button presses: hold the power button for 4–5 seconds, and if you don’t see a flashing red light, hold the reset button. Then you pick the Wi‑Fi network you want to sync with, enter your router password, and use the QR code method—hold the code about 5–8 inches from the camera until you hear the sound that tells you it scanned it. After it connects, I go through the main controls like battery life, Wi‑Fi signal, bitrate, screenshots, recordings, intercom/two‑way audio, and switching between Full HD and SD (I use SD if it’s buffering so it plays smoother). I also cover motion detection sensitivity, alert plans, activity zones to ignore things like moving leaves, night vision/color mode, message clips, timeline history, sharing the camera, and even turning off the blue network indicator light if you want it to look “off.”
