There are thousands of AI tools right now, and over the last six months I tested 237 of them to figure out what actually matters for 2026. The big theme: stop slowly typing into chat windows, notes, and Google Docs. You can speak three times faster than you can type, and once you build voice-first workflows, you genuinely don’t go back. That’s why I start with WisprFlow (Whisper Flow) for voice typing everywhere, then move into automation with Gumloop so you can build agent-powered workflows just by describing what you want. From there, I show the “operating system” stack I rely on: Notion as my second brain (with an AI assistant that can build databases and even research-populate them), plus connectors so Claude/ChatGPT/Perplexity can pull from and push into my workspace. For output, Gamma turns outlines into clean slide decks or LinkedIn carousels in minutes, and Nano Banana inside Google Gemini is the best I’ve used for image generation and especially image editing (it doesn’t mangle edits like ChatGPT often does). For research, Perplexity is the Google + ChatGPT hybrid with citations, deep research, and agent labs. Then we get into vibe coding with Bolt and Lovable to ship little tools fast, and I wrap with Custom GPTs and Claude Projects/Skills—where I systemize my expertise and generate branded docs, decks, and SOPs on demand.
