I’ve been living inside Claude Co-work for the last two weeks, and I’m not even joking—its power is insane, especially with Opus 4.6 under the hood. In this video I break down the new thing that makes Co-work feel like you’re building actual AI employees: Claude plugins. The key idea is simple: skills are single, repeatable “recipe cards” (one task, one outcome), and plugins bundle multiple skills plus tool access so they can operate like full job roles—finance, marketing, legal, data, and more. I walk you through where skills live (Settings → Capabilities → Skills), how they activate in normal chats, and then how plugins work inside Co-work. You’ll see me install off-the-shelf plugins (like Finance and Marketing), inspect what’s inside them (commands, bundled skills, and connectors like Slack/MS365/BigQuery), and run real tasks—like generating a full welcome email sequence for my AI Recipe Vault. Then I show how to customize a plugin to fit your business (including the “AI improving AI” loop), and how to add plugins from GitHub/URLs or build your own from scratch—no coding—then save it directly into Claude as a reusable workflow.
