In this video I’m checking out the Ninjutso Sora V3, which is basically the upgraded Sora V2/Vaxis Sora style with the same kind of vibe as the Ninjutso 10. I go through the unboxing (mouse, 8K dongle, white braided USB-C cable, stickers, and extra skates) and then jump straight into what actually matters: shape, clicks, coating, weight, and overall performance. The shape is pretty much the same as the Sora V2—elongated back with a wide hump and a lower front end—and as a claw user, it felt really good in hand. Performance-wise, it’s running Aim Ninja switches and the Aim Ninja 3950 sensor with polling up to 8K. Battery life was solid for me—I got about a week on 4K. The coating felt super sticky so I didn’t feel the need for grips, and the weight balance felt right (not back heavy) at around 40g. My main knock right now is build quality: it feels a bit flimsy, and the scroll wheel especially reminds me of the Ninjutso 10 where you can flex it if you press hard enough. I didn’t have any connectivity issues with the 8K dongle, but the downloaded driver didn’t read the mouse (web-based driver worked fine), and honestly I prefer web-based software anyway.
