In this video I’m checking out the ATK Ghost, ATK’s newest gaming mouse that sits in that “Viper Mini vs Viper V3” conversation. Mine was sent out for review, but like always, these are my complete honest opinions. I go over the two variants (Ultimate at $110 and Extreme at $130) and what actually changes between them (different Nordic MCUs and different ATK switches). I also show the unboxing, which honestly feels pretty premium with the metal case, dongle, grips, skates, and a braided USB-C cable. For the mouse itself, it’s carbon composite with a carbon-like texture and it looks super clean, but the coating is pretty mid—slippery enough that grips were basically necessary for me. Build quality is great (no flex), weight is 42g with skates, and the balance felt really good. You get tri-mode connectivity (wired, wireless, Bluetooth), web-based software (my preference), and the ATK Lightb Blade mechanical switches that felt light, clicky, and spammable with no weird pre-travel. Overall performance and comfort were great, and if you want a shape that’s basically in-between a Viper Mini and a Viper V3, the Ghost is a really solid option—my main complaint is still that slippery coating and I wish the price was closer to that $90 preorder.
