In this video I’m checking out the WLMOUSE HUAN (yeah, the “cat dongle” mouse). I bought this one myself, so this is straight up my honest take on how it performs and whether it’s actually worth it for your setup. Unboxing is solid: you get the mouse, a braided USB-C cable, extra grips, extra skates, and the standout piece—the screen dongle with the little cat cover. You can remove the cat if you hate it, customize the screen with scenes/gifs, and it even has voice activation (which you can turn off). The HUAN is a full magnesium mouse (scroll wheel and bottom aren’t), and the build quality is pretty much what you’d expect from that—no weird flex or issues. It’s 50g and feels dense but not heavy in-hand. Shape-wise it’s on the smaller side and reminded me a bit of a Logitech 2C vibe, so if you’re into smaller mice, you’ll probably click with it. Performance is great, web-based software is easy (8K polling, DPI, macros), and battery life was about 3–4 days on 4K. My biggest complaint is the Omron optical clicks—they’re super light, and I was misclicking in-game. Coating also wasn’t great, but once I threw grips on, I was good.
