In this video I tested the AULA V9 Ultra, and yeah—this thing is basically a direct GPX clone. I went over the different V9 variants (V9, V9 Pro, V9 Ultra) and the sizing too: the Plus version I reviewed is the straight-up GPX-style shape, while the regular is more like a 2C. For the money (around $40–$50), you’re getting a 3950 sensor on the Pro/Ultra, up to 8K polling, and Omron opticals, which is honestly pretty wild for “budget mouse” territory. I talked through the unboxing and what you get (mouse, grips, braided USB-C, and the receiver/dongle), build quality, and the stuff that actually matters in-game. The skates are mid and that center skate was taller than the rest, so I removed it because it was doing weird spin-test stuff and I didn’t want it messing with glide. The coating is fine, clicks felt solid (I prefer these over GPX clicks), but the side buttons were mushy and the weight balance felt off—mostly because of that RGB ring in the back. Overall performance was okay with no sensor issues, but the scroll wheel wasn’t as consistent as I’d like. End result: decent GPX-shape alternative under $50, but it’s not the best budget pick unless they fix the balance and scroll.
