About This Video

In this video I’m breaking down the Pulsar X2 Crazy Light in Medium and doing a quick, real-world comparison against the X2 Crazy Light Mini so you can figure out which one actually makes sense for your grip and hand size. The Medium is dropping October 27th, and while the size difference on paper doesn’t look huge (Mini 115x61x36 vs Medium 120x63x38), it’s definitely noticeable in-hand—especially in width and how the back hump sits. Build quality on my Medium unit was solid: no side-to-side flex, no top/bottom creaking, and the side buttons felt tactile with no mush or weird travel. The black coating is grippy, but yeah—it’s a fingerprint magnet, so expect to wipe it down if you care. Performance-wise, both sizes were excellent for me: XS1 sensor, up to 8K polling, web-based software, and the newer full-size stock skates that I honestly didn’t feel the need to swap. If you’re an aggressive claw player, the Mini still feels great, but the Medium gives more palm contact and is easier to “relax” into—especially if you’ve got bigger hands or you just wanted the Mini to be slightly bigger.
