In this video I’m checking out the new CLUSTRS Astra glasspad and seeing if it really hits that “perfect speed balanced” sweet spot. It’s a 500x400 pad and about 3mm thick with the base, which is a little different from the usual 490x420 glass sizes. The rubber backing covers almost the whole bottom—mine moved a bit at first, but once I was actually in-game with my arm on it, it stayed put with zero issues. Surface-wise, the Astra is smooth and quick, but it has a subtle texture that helps with control and stopping power. The anti-fingerprint coating is a nice touch for keeping it clean, but depending on your skin it can stick sometimes—if you’re in a humid setup or you sweat a lot, I’d honestly recommend a sleeve. In-game, micro-adjustments felt easy and consistent, and while I didn’t notice problems with the size, I did wish for a little more Y-axis room at times (not a dealbreaker). Overall, it’s a solid speed-balanced glasspad with a clean design, but at $140 I think it’s pricey unless you catch a sale like their Black Friday specials.
