In this video I’m checking out the KANAMI Hoshino glasspad, and yeah—this one’s easily my favorite speed glass pad of 2025 so far. It’s a pretty standard modern glass size at 490x420, about 3mm thick with the base, and it comes with a custom full silicone backing in a sick purple/pink colorway. It did slide around a little on my desk at first, but once I was actually in-game with my arm on it, it stayed put and never became an issue. Surface-wise, the Hoshino is smooth and fast, but it has a subtle texture that adds control. That combo gave me quick micro-adjustments while still having solid stopping power for TAC FPS. The coating is nice too—easy to clean if you spill something—and the big surprise is it doesn’t stick to my arm at all, so I didn’t need a sleeve. Edges are slightly chamfered, the pad is fairly quiet depending on skates, and the design/art looks great. At $110, I think it’s an easy buy versus most glasspads that cost $20–$30 more, and compared to something like the VA you’re getting similar speed with better stopping power and nicer art.
