About This Video

In this video I’m checking out the Zeromouse Blade—Optimum’s fingertip mouse made with Finalmouse—and answering the big question: is it worth the money, or is it basically a scam at the current pricing/hype? Retail is $169 (when you can actually find it), and it’s been popping up aftermarket for way more, so I wanted to see what you’re really getting. Unboxing is simple: small Finalmouse-style box, the mouse, and the USB dongle—no cable included. The Blade is a 3D printed fingertip-only design (Formlabs resin) and it comes in around 22g, which is insanely light and honestly feels great for raw performance. It uses a Finalmouse PCB, so you get Finalmouse software/XPanel support and that familiar Finalmouse-style experience. But the big downside for me is the build: it’s solid enough, yet it still feels super flimsy and cheap in-hand, like I could crush it if I tried. No side buttons is also a dealbreaker for how I play. Overall, I don’t think it’s worth $169—if you want “Finalmouse performance,” I’d rather just get a Finalmouse, or grab a cheaper fingertip option like the Fantech Aria/“Fenware SM” or even consider a Pulsar X2F if you don’t mind extra weight.
