In this video I’m checking out one of VAXEE’s newer drops, the NP01s ERGO, and yeah—I bought it myself, so this is my straight-up honest take. It’s $140 USD direct from VAXEE and you get the mouse, a 4K dongle, and a non-braided USB-C cable. For the price I’d love to see a braided cable and maybe extra skates or grips, but it’s not a dealbreaker. I’ve got the light green colorway here and, in my opinion, it’s one of the best options. Shape-wise, this is the whole reason to look at it. I’m not usually an ergo guy, but the NP01s ERGO isn’t overly aggressive or huge—it keeps that smaller NP01s vibe with a tall hump pushed slightly to the right and a more pronounced inward curve. As a relaxed claw grip player, I like how the back hump fills my hand, but I’ll be real: the right-shifted hump makes it a love/hate shape for me, and I wish it was more symmetrical. Build and performance are solid. Clicks are crisp with blue shell pink dots (my favorite), side buttons are easy to hit and have a sticky coating, and the wheel is responsive. It’s 58g with full-size proprietary skates (great on cloth, a bit scratchy on glass), runs a 3950 chip, and supports up to 4K polling—wireless felt flawless for me, and battery life held up fine over a few days of use.
