About This Video

I picked up Logitech’s new Superlight 2C because I genuinely wanted to see what they’ve been doing lately. Logitech used to be miles ahead in high-performance peripherals, and the original Superlight was basically the blueprint: ~60g, no cutouts, great balance, great coating, and battery life that felt endless. The 2C looks almost the same at a glance, but it’s the compact version—about 5% smaller, mostly shorter, and also a bit narrower and lower. For my hands, that changes everything: I can’t comfortably claw it anymore, but I actually prefer fingertip grip, and the smaller size plus the ~10g drop makes it feel more natural and more nimble. I can flick faster and track direction changes more easily, and yeah—I’m confident I play better with it. The problem is it’s 2025, and a 50g mouse just isn’t special anymore. I compared it to Pulsar’s X2 Crazy Light, which is a ridiculous 38g in a normal plastic shell with solid build quality and (to me) better-feeling clicks. Logitech still wins on stuff like click latency, firmware polish, and battery life, but Pulsar is straight-up rinsing them on the most tangible thing you feel in-game: weight. My takeaway: the Superlight 2C is a good product, especially if you’ve always wanted a smaller Superlight, but if you’re shopping for an upgrade, you should absolutely explore lighter options that are already here.
