In this video, I’m giving you a real look inside room 5108 at RIU Guanacaste in Costa Rica, so you know exactly what to expect before you book. These rooms were recently updated and fully renovated, and you can tell right away when you walk in. I show you how the key card powers the lights, the mini bar setup (including alcohol and mixers), the coffee station, and the fridge items like Imperial Beer, Sprite, Coke, water, and club soda—plus the note that drinks are replaced every 2 days. I also walk you through the closet storage (with a safe), the bathroom layout, and what I liked and didn’t like about the shower. It’s a spacious bathroom with double sinks and a double-head shower, but I’ll be honest—there’s no glass across the shower, so it can feel kind of cold. Then I show the main room setup with the king bed, nightstands, dresser/TV, couch, and ceiling fan. And of course, the best part: the balcony ocean view. You can see the pool, mountains, and some absolutely beautiful Costa Rica sunsets. You can hear the pool music on the balcony but it stays quiet inside, which I loved.
