I got the materials for this project a year ago, and my daughter finally reminded me that we needed to do this! Here are my tips for doing this project so you can learn from my MAJOR failures and successes. ▷ MY TIPS ◁ 1. Please make sure to tape the templates in the correct orientation before you start! (I accidentally taped three templates upside down and didn’t realize until I finished them — had to start all over 😭). 2. When it comes to the black leading paint, start from the inside and work your way out. 3. Instead of outlining every single line with the leading paint, trace the outer edges first, then use a toothpick to draw the paint into finer details. 4. Allow the black leading paint to fully dry before you begin coloring — a few hours is okay, but overnight is safest. 5. For the color paint, remember: the thicker the coat, the more opaque it will dry. 6. During the final step — applying Crystal Clear glass paint — don’t worry about perfection! It dries clear, so just slather it on. 7.
