I didn't move my Hoyas out of LECA because there's anything wrong with LECA; I just wanted to simplify my life and keep all my plants in the same substrate. Since filming this, none of the Hoyas have exhibited any transplant shock, so I'm very pleased. While you can't trick Hoyas into blooming, in my experience, you can encourage it by creating an ideal environment for them through the following: -adding a trellis -providing bright light -creating higher humidity -allowing the soil to dry out between waterings I will keep everyone updated if/when I see any blooms this spring!
