This video is me saying it out loud: this is game over for OpenClaw and Perplexity Computer. Anthropic shipped native Computer Use for Claude on Mac, and it’s the “next level” we’ve been waiting for—an agentic AI system that can interact with my Mac end to end. Yes, we had workarounds (AppleScript, folder access, Claude Code flows), and I’ve been connecting mobile Claude with the desktop app daily. But now Claude doesn’t just see files—it can actually use real Mac apps like a human would. I walk through why this matters with concrete examples. Claude can open PowerPoint, export my pitch deck as a PDF, save it to the desktop, then attach it to a calendar event directly inside the Calendar app—no fragile API glue. It can also launch Claude Code, spin up a local dev server, verify the app is working, and send a screenshot to my phone. And the Pixel Forge demo is wild: batch-cropping and exporting 150 photos by opening the app and doing the clicks for you. My big takeaway: native local tool access is the final nail in the coffin for the competition. I’m also planning to turn a Mac mini into a dedicated Claude agent machine, and I’ll do a deep-dive follow-up where I test this myself and share the full workflow.
