About This Video

In today’s video I’m sitting down for my proper upper blepharoplasty update and a big Q&A, because the last time you saw my eyes it was basically the first week of healing and they were still really swollen and red. I’m now around 8–10 weeks post-op (I had it done on 20th August 2025) and I wanted to share honestly how they’re looking, how the scars are fading, and what I’ve found tricky—mainly getting used to doing my eye makeup differently. Some mornings I still wake up a bit puffy, but overall I’m genuinely thrilled with the result. I also answer all the questions you’ve been asking: who I went to (Professor Ben Miranda), what it cost me (I paid full price—about £2,650 all in, plus £250 for the consultation), what the procedure felt like under local anaesthetic, and how much downtime you realistically need. For me, bruising and redness were much better by around 10 days and I was wearing makeup, but I’d still say plan 10 days to 2 weeks depending on your job and how you heal. I chat about telling the kids (they were brutal for about a day and then didn’t care), fitness (no workouts for two weeks), and whether it’s made me want more “tweakments” (honestly, it can put ideas in your head—but I’m not planning anything else).
