In this reset, clean and pack with me video, I’m getting the house sorted before we head off on our family holiday. I don’t know what it is about going away, but it properly motivates me to declutter, change the sheets, and get everything feeling fresh. I start in the kitchen by tackling my breakfast station (because anything behind closed doors seems to turn into a dumping ground), give the surfaces a good wipe down, and even clean out the toaster. I also do a quick clear of the dining table, which is basically the hub of our house—especially with the kids off school getting super creative. I then move into the boot room and under-stairs storage, clearing out hats, gloves and scarves and showing you a simple little Amazon hat organiser that makes mornings so much easier. I also take on my “cupboard of doom” where I keep packaging for my Vinted reselling—reusing boxes is such a good way to save money and reduce waste, but it definitely needed a proper reset. Finally, I finish packing (in secret, because the trip was a surprise for the boys), using packing cubes, luggage scales to stay under my 20kg allowance, and a jewellery folder plus fragrance atomisers to keep everything organised and compact for travel.
