In today’s raw vlog I’m doing a proper little “Prepmas” day – the kind where you’re trying to get ahead for Christmas, but also still juggling appointments, school runs and the usual chaos. I start with a quick life debate (do you brush your teeth before coffee or after?) and then take you along to my final follow-up appointment after my blepharoplasty. Everything went really well and I’ve officially been signed off, which feels like such a relief. Back home, I show you what I’m doing to spread the cost of Christmas by adding bits onto the weekly shop – crackers, chocolates, mince pies, and some decorations for our boot room. I also try a festive DIY hack: turning Prosecco bottles into disco bottles using little mirror stickers. It’s a bit fiddlier than I expected around the neck of the bottle, but for a first go I’m really happy with how it turned out, and I think it makes such a cute, cost-effective gift. Then it’s onto a proper cleaning and organising reset in Caleb’s room (football kits, drawers, desk… the works). I love these jobs with a podcast and a cup of gingerbread tea because the before-and-after satisfaction is unmatched. I also share a teen present haul for Fraser (he’s nearly 15 and so tricky to buy for), and we end the day chatting about what Jackson really wants for Christmas… a corn snake!
