It’s Christmas Day 2025 in our house, and I’m vlogging the whole thing from Christmas Eve setup right through to the end-of-night tidy. I show you the boys’ Christmas sacks and the main presents this year — Jackson’s big surprise is a corn snake (well… the tank for now!), Caleb’s is a gaming chair, and Fraser’s is very much in his “fragrance era”. I also share how we handled the snake situation sensibly because we’re heading to Mexico the next morning — so Jackson gets to choose his corn snake when we’re back, and the tank is all ready to be decorated. On Christmas morning we’re straight into the chaos-but-in-a-good-way, and honestly it felt like the most organised Christmas morning we’ve ever had because the boys are that bit older. We take Kiki out for a freezing but sunny Christmas walk, I show you my Christmas Day outfit (glam but comfy — slippers are non-negotiable), and we host 16 people for dinner with Matt running the kitchen like “airport dad chef style” with a full itinerary. By the evening I’m absolutely stuffed, everyone’s headed off early because we’ve got a 4am wake-up for the airport, and we’re doing that classic last-minute pack and reset. It was busy, a bit full-on, but such a lovely day — and I’m so grateful you spent a bit of it with us.
