In this raw Sunday vlog, I’m catching up with you properly and easing myself back into filming after a little Christmas break. The morning starts with a very real “three days till my period” mood (plus a huge spot), a quick makeup bit, and then I share our big family update… we’ve got a new family member. Jackson’s wanted a reptile forever, so after lots of research we finally got him a royal python. I know snakes aren’t for everyone, so I gave a heads up, but honestly… I didn’t expect to love a reptile and now I’m obsessed. He’s so slow, so chill, and genuinely really cute. We do the usual family bits too—football for the boys, a little potter about, and Jackson’s loom band obsession (it’s keeping him off screens and I love that). I also show you Danny’s enclosure setup and how we’ve got the heat, thermostat and lighting sorted. But the main heart of this vlog is me being honest about what I’m struggling with at the moment: that “middle bit” of parenting. Fraser’s 15 and going out with his mates, and even though I trust him completely, letting go is hard. Then we end with dinner out, a little milkshake hack at home, and a very relatable evening of homework, anger-tidying, and teenage boys eating the house at 9pm.
