About This Video

In this video I’m sharing over 100 Elf on the Shelf ideas from what our cheeky elves have actually done in our house over the last few years. If you’re feeling like you’ve run out of steam (or you’ve left it until the night before), this is basically a big bank of easy, funny set-ups you can copy: little signs with silly puns, quick sweet treats, and loads of ideas using things you already have at home like toilet roll, wrapping paper, fruit, Skittles, marshmallows and Post-it notes. And as always, if you don’t have an elf… it’s probably because you’re so good you don’t need one to come and watch you. I’ve included everything from “McElves” gummy burgers, “sponge cake” (literally a sponge with sprinkles), and Hungry Hippos made with hippo treats, to games the kids genuinely love like hide-and-seek with sweets under cups, pin the nose on Rudolph, elf bingo, and little scavenger hunts for coins and candy canes. There are also a few classic naughty ones (toilet humour is very much our elf’s vibe because the kids find it hilarious), plus some really lovely ones like setting up letters to Santa, a drawing station for Santa, and a charity donation basket to encourage the boys to give things away. Hopefully it gives you loads of inspiration for December and makes the mornings feel a bit more magical.
