This summer we’re planning a 2,500 mile ride home on a 46 year old motorcycle that has been sitting for years. Unlike some of our previous adventures, this one might actually require a little planning. Our first big trip involved riding a 1983 Kawasaki GPZ1100 to Colorado and back after it had been left outside for 10 years without spark plugs. Then we somehow convinced ourselves riding a salvage yard rescue Honda CB360 home in the middle of winter was a good idea. It was 22 degrees when I left… and honestly I still don’t know what I was thinking. Now we’re taking things to another level.
