After sorting out the kickstarter problem we quickly realized something else was very wrong. This old Honda had little to NO compression. So naturally… it was time to tear into the engine. The little 1972 Honda ST90 is back! In the last episode we tore into the engine and discovered the source of our no-compression problem: a bent valve. That one little piece brought this entire motorcycle to a stop. Finding parts for a 54-year-old Honda isn't always easy, but after digging through the motorcycle stash we managed to find an old replacement valve hiding on the shelf. Sometimes being a motorcycle hoarder pays off! Now comes the fun part. We put the engine back together, set the valve clearances, double-check our work, and prepare for the moment of truth. Will the ST90 finally fire up? Will we hear it run for the first time in years? Or will this vintage Honda throw us another curveball? There is only one way to find out.
