Instead of just taping off a few parts and hitting it with paint — the old spray and pray method — I like to take things apart the right way. In this episode, we start disassembling the CT110 to get it ready for paint while leaving the front end and engine in place so the bike can still roll around the shop. The goal is simple: clean it, scuff it, mask it off, and get this old Honda one step closer to being all one color again. This CT110 is slowly turning into the campground cruiser I’ve had in my head since the day I dragged it home. It’s not glamorous work, but this is the kind of prep that makes the final result worth it. Every bolt, bracket, and panel removed gets us one step closer to paint — and one step closer to loading this thing up for a moto-camping adventure.
