We start by giving the old tank a gentle bath to wash away decades of grime. Next up, we use a clay bar to pull out any deep-seated contaminants that have built up over the years. With the surface clean, it’s time for the heavy lifting — a rubbing compound session using a foam brush on the drill to cut through oxidation and revive the color. Finally, we seal the deal with a coat of wax to bring out that mirror-like finish. This one’s all about preserving history, not repainting it.
