I Transformed This Honda CB500T Cafe Racer #vintagemotorcycle #motorcyclerewind #cb500t #caferacer In this episode of Motorcycle Rewind, we finally make some real progress transforming our tragic 1975 Honda CB500T cafe racer project into something worth looking at—maybe even worth riding. The rattle-can nightmare is officially over. We stripped the last of that horrible spray bomb paint job, revealing a blank canvas we can finally work with. The forks got the attention they deserved with a proper clean and polish, and we did something a little different up front—ditched the CB500T triple tree and installed one from a CB550 to improve fit and stance. Clip-on handlebars? Gone. We swapped them out for a set of super bike bars that feel way better and look even better. And while we were at it, we cleaned, prepped, and painted the frame to bring the whole thing up a notch. There's still plenty of work to do, but this is the kind of transformation that starts to get exciting.
