This old Honda starter motor was basically a big rusty paperweight when we started. Everything was stuck together with rust, and every step of the teardown fought us. But instead of throwing it away and replacing it, we’re taking it apart, cleaning it up, inspecting the pieces, and giving it a chance to spin again. Rebuilding a motorcycle starter motor is usually a pretty simple job, but when rust gets involved, nothing comes apart easy. This CB350 starter needed some convincing, but that’s part of the fun.
