Years (and decades) of grease, grime, and rust had to go. Instead of spending big money on equipment, I built a homemade parts washer using a tote and a small fountain pump — simple, cheap, and surprisingly effective. Then it was time to roll up the sleeves and start scrubbing. Once everything was cleaned up, I moved on to the cylinders — honing the CB350 cylinders to knock down rust and bring back that fresh crosshatch, getting them one step closer to going back into a running engine.
