This time we drag home a little gem from 1969… a Honda CD175. At first glance it looks complete-ish, but once we start digging deeper the mystery begins unfolding fast. Missing parts, questionable wiring, rusty surprises and worst of all… a stuck engine. In this episode we begin the detective work to figure out exactly what we have and what this old Honda needs to live again. First step? See if the engine will turn over without using a bigger hammer… at least not yet. We soak the cylinders, inspect the fuel system, check the wiring harness, look over the carburetors and start making the ever-growing parts list. If we can get this engine freed up, this little 175 could become an incredibly fun rider. Lightweight, simple, and full of late-60s Honda charm. But before we can dream about riding it, we’ve got to see if this old twin even wants to cooperate. Will the engine break free? How much is missing?
