After giving this old bike a driveway paint job and letting everything fully cure, it’s time to start turning this pile of parts back into something that looks a whole lot less like a basket case — because, well, it literally showed up in baskets. In this episode, we start bolting painted parts back on, including the side cover doors and chain guard, then wrestle the engine back into the frame. From there, we make a gasket, install the engine covers, fight the exhaust a few times until we finally get the order right, and bring the front end back to life with a rebuilt headlight bucket, speedometer, trim ring, bulb, and lens. And yes… I almost forgot the front fender. This old Sears Allstate SV175 is looking so much better than when it showed up with that rough spray bomb paint job. The driveway paint job may not be perfect, but it completely changed the look of this bike.
