The Honda ST90 was Honda’s little trail bike built for back roads, campgrounds, neighborhoods, and just about anywhere you could point the front wheel. With its small 89cc engine, step-through style frame, and classic Honda reliability, the ST90 is one of those bikes that looks simple… but after sitting for decades, simple doesn’t always mean easy. Today we take a methodical approach to see if these two old Hondas still have some life left in them. No guessing, no parts cannon — just the basics: Power. Spark. Fuel. First we check the electrical side and see if we can get power where it needs to go. Then we move on to spark, because without spark we’re just kicking for exercise. Finally, we turn our attention to fuel and see if these old Hondas are willing to make noise for the first time in years. Will both ST90s run? Will one run? Or will they fight us every step of the way?
