Beating the Dents Out of a Destroyed CB550 Chopper Fender #vintagemotorcycle #motorcyclerewind #cb550 Join this channel to get access to perks: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXCVqILEkluYk5J4oXNabkA/join AUSOM L1 Scooter Purchase from the Ausom store: https://bit.ly/48kyGEP Purchase from Amazon:https://amzn.to/4pFIIro Code: MREWINDL1(Applicable to both websites) #Ausom #Ausoml1 #Ausomescooter We’re back on the forgotten 1976 Honda CB550 chopper, and today… I just can’t look at that wrecked rear fender anymore. This thing has been punched, folded, kinked, crushed — you name it — ever since that rear-end collision back in the late 70s. It’s been sitting for nearly 50 years wearing that battle scar, and honestly… it’s starting to bug me. We are still hunting for a replacement fender (if you’ve got one, hit me up!), but until the right piece shows up, we’re going to try something a little ridiculous… and maybe a little satisfying. In this episode, we break out a dent repair kit and see if there’s any chance at all we can beat, pull, tap, massage, threaten, sweet-talk, or caveman-persuade these dents out of this vintage chopper fender. Worst case? We learn something. Best case? We actually make this thing look a little less like a crushed beer can. Slow and steady — one dent, one hammer tap at a time — we’re bringing this old survivor back to life. If you enjoy vintage motorcycle revivals, rust rescues, or hopelessly optimistic attempts at sheet metal repair, you’re in the right place.
