About This Video

Hello my lovelies — in this video I take you through my May 2021 bullet journal setup (my “plan with me spread setup thingy”), and I keep it super simple on purpose. I went for a purply/bluey-lavender colour scheme and I wanted to prove you can make an aesthetically pleasing spread without doodles or loads of “pretty bits”. The main trick is honestly just two Tombow colours, a squiggly-wiggly border, and a couple of fonts (one fancy, one plain). I do end up adding a tiny bit of washi tape and a couple of stickers because I couldn’t help myself, but the layout absolutely works without them. Layout-wise, I’m back to my old favourite monthly setup: a central calendar with side sections for goals, hyper/hypo, high point/low point, and what I’m watching/reading. I also include my productivity level tracker (even though I didn’t really use it in April — I just enjoy making it), my “everything tracker” for health/fibromyalgia (plus notes, meds, and a simple time tracker), and my relationship care spread. I also talk about letting mistakes go — if it’s functional, it’s all good — and I share a Skillshare class idea for making tiny zines you can tuck into your journal for big events and memories.
