In this video I’ll be showing you how I created my October set up using washitape. Unfortunately the washi tapes that I used are currently out of stock 😭 but hopefully you’ll find this video helpful if you decide to use washi tape to decorate your own bullet journal 💕 PRODUCT LINKS: This is Buzz books - A series of books I created for Felix and other toddlers with ASD/ADHD 😊 UK: Numbers - https://amzn.to/3sq2QoW fruit - https://amzn.to/45Glnvy Shapes - https://amzn.to/3svqTCX Colours - https://amzn.to/45oar68 US: Numbers - https://amzn.to/47RyZG3 Fruit - https://amzn.to/45ssnMQ Shapes - https://amzn.to/45qWXX1 Colours - https://amzn.to/45LFKHw Unipin fine liner pens: UK - https://amzn.to/3QV5uNK US - n/a Yop and Tom Journal: UK - https://amzn.to/3Pel4mq US - n/a Zig Dot Markers: UK - https://amzn.to/4638GLF US - https://amzn.to/3YOtVOM Tombow dual brush pens: UK - https://amzn.to/47NcRN0 US - https://amzn.to/3EdT9wA I am an affiliate for some of the products I use, which means that if you use one of my links I get a small commission for your purchase at no extra cost to you. About This Video

Hello my lovelies — in this video I take you through my October bullet journal setup, but the real focus is how I use washi tape purely as decoration (without it looking like I’ve just chucked it down anywhere). I’ve watched loads of washi tape tips and tricks over the years, but I wanted a straightforward, repeatable method that actually looks cohesive. This is basically my little washi tape decorating cheat code: pick one main, fairly wide “theme” tape first, then choose a couple of medium tapes that match the vibe, and finally grab your thinnest tapes in solid colours pulled straight from the colours you can see in the main tape. Once I’ve got the theme and colour palette, I match my pens/liners to it and then (this is the important bit) I plan the layout first so I’m not sticking tape where I need to write. I use washi to fill those awkward empty spaces that always make me feel pressured to add “something,” and my go-to is using it as a border, mixing horizontal and vertical strips, and layering tapes over each other. I also share little practical bits like tearing vs cutting (and using a bank card to get a clean tear), plus how I finish a spread with a couple of stickers and dot markers to balance the page. It’s quick, ADHD-friendly, and honestly the fastest way I’ve found to make a bullet journal look nice without spending hours on it.
