I finally hopped back into my big ol’ Year 1 farm save with Stardew Valley Expanded + Ridgeside (and assorted chaos) for Fall 9 through Fall 15, because I’ve been yearning to play Stardew and I needed a break from how parallel my Joja save was getting. This stream is very “comfy but a little over-stemmy” energy: we do the classic return-to-save recalibration, re-learn what I was hoarding, and immediately get humbled by inventory management (expanded saves = too much stuff, not enough chest space). I’m not spreadsheeting this one, so it’s a lot of me going “what’s the method??” and then running to the Community Center to donate/turn in whatever I can. We spend a chunk of the episode doing cozy farm maintenance: watering, tending animals, grabbing blackberries, and trying to keep bundles and fair prep in the back of my brain (amaranth, eggplant, pumpkins… all that fall girlie pop business). The big practical takeaway is: everything revolves around Robin, and I needed that larger chest recipe ASAP—so we go buy it and then immediately commit to chopping a truly disrespectful amount of wood. Also, yes, I still have beef with Stardew (and Minecraft) about music: if music is enabled, why is it not playing all the time. Please. I’m begging.
