About This Video

In this cozy lil stream (low spoons edition because our building alarm went off at 3:30am… love that for me), I tried Go-Go Town! for the first time and immediately got obsessed. I saw it during Wholesome Direct and it gave me big “Sim City Stardew” vibes: life sim + town builder + foraging + crafting, and you can do up to 4-person couch co-op (we did the Remote Play Together workaround). It was in early access during this footage, so I’m very much in the “we might find bugs, don’t yell at me” mindset, but honestly the vibes were already so cute. We start with the express mayor training package (aka: pick up rocks, fix the statue, and learn how building works). Then we bumble our way through mining/forestry zones, figuring out how to drill stone and use the foundry to turn it into bricks. After that, we build our first shop and I pick the “Eat & Go” fit-out because hello… deep-fried grownut shroom kebabs is iconic. We also repair the train station to bring tourists in, build housing, and assign a towny to work (which felt a little icky, but okay capitalism). The big takeaway: it’s adorable, chaotic, and super promising—especially if you love cozy co-op games where you’re always yelling “where did I leave my bike?”
